During the week of August 11th, KGSR invites you to enjoy the most delicious week of the year - KGSR Restaurant Week. The 7-day culinary event will give you the opportunity to explore the city’s diverse array of dining experiences while also helping to benefit the Kids Café operated by Austin’s Capital Area Food Bank.

How it works: Participating restaurants will offer dining values while showcasing items from their menus. The Restaurant Week menu will showcase selected 3-course meals for just $25 (excluding beverage, tax and tip). For each special dinner purchased, $5 will be donated to Kids Café. Participating restaurants are: Austin Land and Cattle, Chez Zee, Ciola's Italian American Restaurant, Dona Emilios, Imperia, J. Blacks, Jasper's, Kenichi Austin, Ranch 616, The Belmont, The County Line On The Hill, The County Line On The Lake, The Melting Pot Downtown, The Melting Pot Northwest, and ReVive at the Wyndham.

What is Kids Café? Kids Cafes are safe, nurturing places where neighborhood children can go after school and receive a hot dinner as well as help with homework from caring individuals. An official program of America’s Second Harvest, there are more than 1,600 locally operated Kids Cafes across the nation. The Capital Area Food Bank (CAFB) currently operates 31 Kids Cafes in Central Texas, serving more than 25,000 meals to more than 2,800 children in need per month.

Red Peak Pasta - Fresh American wild sea scallops and jumbo shrimp saut? in our homemade spicy marinara and Crimini mushroom sauce served over spinach fettuccine.

Creek Stone Farms Grilled Rib eye with Boursin and Merlot Sauce - 12 ounces of premium Black Angus rib eye from Creek Stone Farms, grilled to perfection and Topped with Boursin herb cream cheese and Merlot reduction. Served with garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus.

Dessert:
Lemon rosemary Cake -Or- Mocha fudge torte
